I’ve joined another blog circle with some amazingly talented photographers. The common thread is that we all have a child entering Kindergarten! The class of 2028! Isn’t that ridiculous to think about? We will use this circle to demonstrate what life for our Kindergarteners is like in our little corners of the world. I think it’s a fantastic idea! When you’re finished here, be sure to go to Lucy’s post and see what her little one has been up to.
Emily’s first day of Kindergarten was this past week. She goes to a Montessori school, Media Children’s House, in Aston, PA. She and her little brother Wesley soaked up the last few days of summer by exploring and playing in the water and mud. It was a blast! However, Emily was totally ready to start school. She woke up the first day with the biggest, sleepy grin on her face. As I made my coffee and packed lunches, she complained that I was taking too long. She was completely impatient and ready to be on her way! Please note the “fancy” outfit that she picked out and insisted on wearing. The shoes were too tight and gave her a blister, but she was adamant. I’m sure she’s not the first girl to put up with shoes that hurt her feet, and she won’t be the last. 😉
Here’s to a great year in Kindergarten!
